John Walsh (Principal Trumpet, DPO, ICE), Malcolm Yuen (Associate Conductor, DPO, ICE) rehearse at the Shanghai Grand Theatre in a tour of China with a broadcast audience of some 400 million people.

LEFT: In October 2010, the Irish Chamber Ensemble will bring music to the regional areas of Birr, Waterford and Carlingford of works that have wide appeal to both the general concert-going public and accessible to younger members of the audience. Works programmed for this tour will include the rarely performed “Soldiers Tale” by Stravinsky performed with narrator, and Martinu’s “La Revue de Cuisine”.
